Ancient Egypt Fast Facts Booklet & Crossword

Directions:

1.  You will be given three sheets of paper which contain “fast facts” about Ancient Egypt, along 

     with the title for the cover of the booklet.

2.  Carefully cut apart each section of “fast facts” along the black border.

3.  Organize the sections in the following order:  Ancient Egypt, Daily Life, Language, Government

     and Leaders, Religion, Architecture, Arts and Recreation.

4.  Choose two piece of construction paper (which have been cut to the correct size) to create the

     cover.  Place the organized “fast facts” between the two-piece of construction paper.

5.  Staple all the pages together, lining up the pages carefully.

6.  Attach the section “Introduction to Ancient Egypt” to the front cover.

7.  Decorate/color the cover.

8.  Write your first/last names and period number on the cover.

9.  The information in this booklet will be used to create a crossword puzzle on the computer.

10.   Highlight at least 25 words that will be the “answers” on your crossword.

11.  Select 15 “answers” and provide clues for the “answers” on a separate sheet of paper.
